Terms & Conditions – Ukai International Employment
Chapter 1 Rules common to all services
This chapter applies when you use the services provided by Ukai International Employment (“the Company”).
1. Basic matters regarding use of the service
1-1. Managing login information
Users can register as members through this service using the method specified by Ukai International Employment.
All operations performed using the user's email address, password, etc. will be considered as operations performed by the user themselves. Please manage and store your password securely so that it is not known to third parties.
1-2. Updating registration information
Users are responsible for the accuracy of the information they register. Updates must be made promptly to keep information current and correct.
1-3. Requests regarding survey responses
The Company may conduct surveys regarding service usage. Users are requested to provide truthful and accurate information at their own responsibility.
1-4. Membership cancellation
If you wish to cancel your membership, please follow the cancellation procedures prescribed by Ukai International Employment.
Precautions:
● Canceling membership in one Ukai International Employment service may automatically cancel membership in related services.
● Even after cancellation, certain clauses of these Terms will continue to apply (e.g., liability, governing law, exclusion of anti-social forces).
2. Prohibited acts
Users must not engage in:
● Actions violating laws, regulations, or public order.
● Registering false information or nuisance behavior (e.g., repeated applications without intent).
● Unauthorized use, disclosure, or collection of confidential information.
● Infringement of rights (copyrights, trademarks, privacy, reputation).
● Interference with system operations (e.g., viruses, reverse engineering, automated scraping).
● Transfer of membership rights or obligations to third parties.
● Any other acts deemed inappropriate by the Company.
3. Liability in the event of violation
● Restrictions: The Company may suspend service use or make user information private.
● Damages: Users shall compensate the Company or third parties for damages caused by violations, including attorney’s fees.
4. Service interruptions and changes
The Company may temporarily suspend services without prior notice for maintenance, system failures, force majeure, or other operational reasons.
5. Company Rights
● All intellectual property rights related to the Service belong to Ukai International Employment.
● Survey results may be processed into statistical information.
● Non-personal data may be used for secondary purposes.
● The Company may check and use message content to maintain service quality.
● The Company may contact users via phone, SMS, or email.
● Business outsourcing or transfers may occur; by using the Service, users consent to such transfers.
6. Disclaimer
● Service use is at the user’s own risk.
● The Company is not liable for damages unless explicitly stated in these Terms.
● Accuracy of job postings is the responsibility of recruiting businesses.
● The Company is not liable for third-party services linked to the platform.
7. Liability of the Company
If the Company commits willful misconduct or gross negligence, it shall compensate users for direct and ordinary damages.
8. Exclusion of Anti-Social Forces
Users must not be affiliated with organized crime or anti-social forces. Violent demands, threats, or fraudulent acts are strictly prohibited.
9. Terms Management
● In case of conflict, individual agreements may take precedence.
● Guidelines and manuals form part of these Terms.
● The Company may change these Terms at its discretion, with prior notice. Continued use after two weeks constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan.
Disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court or Tokyo Summary Court.
Chapter 2 Ukai International Employment Job Portal Rules
If you use the Ukai International Employment Job Portal, this chapter applies in addition to Chapter 1.
1. General Rules
● Users must apply for job postings only through the official Ukai International Employment website or app.
● All applications and communications must be conducted via the platform; direct contact with recruiting businesses outside the platform is prohibited unless explicitly permitted.
2. Application Procedures
● Users must provide accurate and truthful information when submitting applications.
● Required documents (e.g., identification, qualifications) must be uploaded in the format specified by the Company.
● Once submitted, applications are considered binding expressions of interest and will be processed accordingly.
3. Prohibited Acts
The following actions are prohibited when using the Job Portal:
● Submitting false or misleading information in applications.
● Applying repeatedly to the same recruiting business without valid reason.
● Attempting to bypass the platform by contacting recruiting businesses directly.
● Any conduct that may cause trouble, fraud, or damage to recruiting businesses or the Company.
4. Communication Rules
● All communication between users and recruiting businesses must be conducted through the platform.
● The Company may monitor message exchanges to ensure compliance and service quality.
5. Important Information
In accordance with relevant employment laws, the Company will inform users by email or other means of important matters such as:
● The range of job types handled by Ukai International Employment.
● Applicable fees (if any).
● Procedures for handling complaints.
Chapter 3 Ukai International Employment Agent Rules
If you use the Ukai International Employment Agent Service, this chapter applies in addition to Chapter 1.
1. Prohibited Acts
When using the Agent Service, users must not:
● Contact recruiting businesses introduced through the Agent directly.
● Undergo recruitment screening processes outside the Agent’s facilitation.
● Enter into employment contracts with recruiting businesses without going through the Agent.
2. Scope of Occupations and Fees
In accordance with Article 32-13 of the Employment Security Act, the Company will notify users by email or other means of:
● The scope of occupations handled by Ukai International Employment Agent.
● Applicable service fees.
● Procedures for handling complaints.
3. Communication and Support
● The Agent acts as an intermediary between users and recruiting businesses.
● Users must cooperate with the Agent in providing accurate information during the recruitment process.
● The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate Agent services if users violate these rules.
Chapter 4 Ukai International Employment Spot Work Rules
When using the Ukai International Employment Spot Work Service, this chapter applies in addition to Chapter 1.
1. Application Rules
1-1. Submission of required documents
Before applying, users must upload the necessary documents specified by Ukai International Employment, such as identification and proof of employment status or qualifications, via the official website or app.
1-2. Job application and contract formation
All job applications must be submitted through the Company’s platform.
When a user applies for a job, a spot work contract is automatically established with the recruiting business. Users must carefully review job details and conditions before applying.
1-3. Confirmation of contract details
The details of the spot work contract and working conditions can be viewed on the Company’s website or app.
2. Cancellation Policy
2-1. Cancellation due to user convenience
Users may cancel a spot work contract after it has been concluded, following the prescribed procedures.
Precaution: A penalty may be incurred as specified by the Company.
2-2. Cancellation due to recruiting business circumstances
Recruiting businesses may cancel contracts due to unavoidable circumstances.
Users may be eligible for compensation if cancellation is caused by the recruiting business, subject to Company procedures.
Precaution: Compensation will not apply if:
● The user does not meet application requirements.
● The user falls under cancellation conditions set by the recruiting business or the Company.
● Cancellation is due to force majeure (e.g., natural disasters).
3. Working Hours Rules
3-1. Recording working hours
Users must record start and end times of work accurately via the Company’s platform.
Corrections must be requested through the recruiting business.
3-2. Determining working hours
Working hours are finalized based on either:
● The user’s wage application request, or
● The Company’s wage calculation closing date.
Precaution: Payment may be delayed if records are incomplete or disputed. In such cases, users must confirm hours directly with the recruiting business, which will then report to the Company.
3-3. Errors discovered after confirmation
If errors are found after hours are finalized, recalculation and adjustments must be handled directly between the user and the recruiting business.
4. Review Rules
4-1. User reviews of recruiting businesses
Users may post reviews after contract completion. Reviews are subject to Company approval before publication and cannot be edited or deleted afterward.
Precaution: Reviews containing inappropriate content (false information, defamation, personal data, unlawful claims, etc.) will not be published.
4-2. Reviews of users by recruiting businesses
Recruiting businesses may post reviews about users. The Company will not amend or delete such reviews.
4-3. Use of reviews and Company rights
The Company may use reviews in advertising or promotional materials. All copyrights to review content belong to Ukai International Employment.
5. Payment Rules
5-1. Payment of wages
● Method: Wages are transferred to the user’s designated account by the Company on behalf of the recruiting business.
● Closing date: End of each month.
● Payment date: 15th of the following month.
(Early payment may be available upon request through Company procedures.)
5-2. Discrepancies or errors
If discrepancies in wages or deductions occur, adjustments must be handled directly between the user and the recruiting business.
6. Issuance of pay slips and tax documents
Pay slips and withholding tax slips are issued electronically via the Company’s platform, unless otherwise provided directly by the employer.
7. Prohibited Acts
Users must not:
● Make false claims regarding qualifications.
● Engage in wage fraud or cause trouble with recruiting businesses.
● Apply to businesses with which they already have contracts.
● Violate contract terms.
● Be absent without valid reason or neglect duties.
● Record inaccurate working hours or breaks.
8. Social Insurance
Spot Work contracts generally do not require social insurance enrollment.
Users must manage their working hours and wages responsibly to avoid exceeding thresholds that trigger mandatory enrollment.
9. Company Responsibility
Spot Work contracts are concluded directly between users and recruiting businesses.
The Company only provides the platform and is not a party to the contract.
Therefore, issues such as compensation, cancellations, wage discrepancies, or reviews must be resolved directly between users and recruiting businesses.
10. Scope of Occupations
In accordance with Article 32-13 of the Employment Security Act, the Company will notify users by email or other means of:
● The range of job types handled.
● Applicable fees.
● Complaint-handling procedures.
